my baby ate soap..... ?
ok well i was giving my 5 month old a bath and i lay the washcloth on his bellyand pour on some soap well after i poured on the soap i was talking to him and he was giggling soo cute.. anyways before i knew it he picked up the wash cloth and put the glob of soap directly in his mouth... i tried to grab it quick but i was toooooo late... it was all over his lips and all in his mouth i got some out but not nearly all of it he was "chewing" it and making bubbles .... will this harm him???? my mom said it will prbably only upset his belly and make him poop alot which right now he has been a bit constipated so i guess thats good but would it really hurt him? says nothing about it on the bottle its Aveeno Baby soothing relief creamy wash with oatmeal......
oh he is acting fine just make some gross faces a little bit ago but is fine now and eating....
Call Aveeno or Poison Control but most of the stuff in baby shampoo/wash is very mild and you'd be surprised but most don't have any soap in them. He is probably fine just keep an eye on him.
