making my own pocket diapers waterproof after the all in ones were too thick to dry?
I tried making AIO but I washed them before I planned on using them and they're too thick to dry. I figure a pocket dipe would dry faster and then I can clean the soaker/insert better.
My plan is to put a cute cotton layer on the outside, then my waterproof layer and a flannel layer inside with a flannel pocket attatched to it. For inserts I was going to use a long piece of flannel that is hemmed on all sides and fold it 4-6 times then stuff it in the pocket so it lays flat.
Should the waterproof layer go all the way around the diaper or should it only be under the pocket?
How many layers of flannel should the insert be?
I'm having a hard time visualizing what you're describing, but be careful that your cotton layer doesn't wind up wicking moisture out onto clothing. That will make for a wet baby pretty quick.
You might like a variety of thicknesses on your inserts- I use my bulkiest ones for overnight, when the absorbancy is needed the most.
I have some that are made by the instrucitons below, and they work well.
All in One Multifunction Printer

Before invention of all in one multifunction printer, it was vital to have all of different functionality devices separately and was such a mess to configure and place them. But now you just sit and by pushing the button, do all send and receive documents process like a piece of cake.
What are these Features and Functionals?
