for those who cloth diaper or make their own?
ok i really want to cloth diaper my kids but cant afford to buy them so i want to make them i have a pattern and all that i want a one sized diaper cover that i can kind of make a pocket diaper to stuff with prefolds and use pins on the outside to make it a one size and do the pocket to help make it a little easier for family to use to. so my question is i know fleece can be used for a cover which is how i want to go no pul or anything. so can i take two fleece cutouts sew them together leaving a pocket opening to put the prefold into or do i need a different material on the inside touching baby and fleece on the outside with the prefold in the middle??? any advice would be great also is one layer of fleece enought for a cover and what type should i be using??
I don't know where you live, but by judging the price of fabric here, i think making your own would be just as expensive!
You can cloth diaper fairly cheap... and if you don't have a huge amount right now, buy a couple, use them and then buy more when you have a little extra to do so. You don't have to switch completely!
I hope this helps!
