For mommy's that have their babies on WIC (formula feeders)...??
As of October 1st 2008, my WIC office is switching from Similac Advance to Nestle's Good Start. Is anyone else's WIC office doing the same thing?? My son was just switched from Enfamil Enfacare (for preemies--he was 8 weeks early) to Similac Advanced and now he's going to have to switch again.
Also, if you have used Nestle's Good Start--how did your baby take it?
Please no rude comments about breastfeeding. I tried and it did not work out.
FYI---I live in PA
Ya my WIC office's normal brand is Similac unless you have a doctor's note (which i did with the Enfamil Enfacare). But at my last appointment I was informed that they will no longer use Similac as their usual brand. They will be switching to Good Start.
Our WIC office has been on Carnation Goodstart for a long time. My daughter just turned 2 months old on Sunday and she hasn't had any trouble with it. She is on Carnation Goodstart with DHA & ARA. I hope everything goes well with you and your baby. I know it's not good on their little tummy's switching back and forth.
