I'm very curious...
You could probably make one of your own for cheaper but it depends on what you are using it for.
If it's for camping you'll want the real thing or at least with sturdy bamboo poles and nylon fabric.
If it's for child's play, you can use regular bamboo poles from chinatown and whatever fabric you choose.
This man may be able to provide some answers for you on where to get one with proper materials.
